About Me

I enjoy movies, books, computers, programming (mostly small games on my own time), video games, basketball, fitness, and trips to the beach. I’ve spent years exploring the United States, camping and visiting most of the National Parks along the way. An experience that shaped my appreciation for both nature and curiosity-driven learning.

Currently, I have settled down from traveling, and mostly enjoy a happy hometown life in Tucson, AZ. I work full-time during the day as a developer, and database administrator. Once I get off work, I usually grab something delicious to eat. I then alternate between watching movies/shows/basketball, programming small games, playing a video game, going to the gym, or settling in for reading.

I also have an interest in automotive mechanics, and have done a lot of work on my own cars over the years as well as completing an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology. I enjoy learning how things work, and have a lot of fun with hands-on projects.

My free online games (working betas I improve as time allows):

Duke's Word Battles: Use your vocabulary skills to cast spells and battle monsters. A fun way to exercise your brain.

Duke's Letter Hold 'Em: A multiplayer game inspired by Texas Hold 'Em and Scrabble. Build the best word hand to win against opponents.

Duke's Space Defense: Can you survive the entire round protecting the home planet from asteroids?
